Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of careerresiliencelab.org and your purchase and use of the Still Employed Checklist.

Effective September 14, 2026

1. Agreement

By using this website or purchasing a product from Career Resilience Lab, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Refund & Delivery Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the product.

2. The product

The Still Employed Checklist is a downloadable career-readiness toolkit consisting of a 23-page playbook and a 31-page printable and fillable template pack containing 16 tools and 387 fillable fields. It is a digital product, not an ongoing service, subscription, coaching program, legal service, or employment-placement service.

3. Eligibility and appropriate use

You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your location. Use the materials only for lawful personal career-readiness purposes. Follow employer policies and applicable law. Do not collect, retain, or disclose confidential company information, customer information, source code, trade secrets, or records you are not permitted to keep.

4. Price, payment, and taxes

The current price is $19 USD as displayed before checkout. It is a one-time payment. Payhip provides checkout and digital delivery, and Stripe processes card payments. Applicable taxes may be calculated or collected at checkout. Career Resilience Lab does not store complete payment-card details.

5. Delivery and cancellation

Access is provided digitally after successful payment through Payhip. No physical goods are shipped. This is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription, so there is no ongoing plan to cancel. Delivery troubleshooting and refund conditions are explained in our Refund & Delivery Policy.

6. Personal-use licence

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the materials for your own personal use. You may print or make personal working copies. You may not share, resell, sublicense, publish, upload, reproduce for distribution, remove ownership notices from, or use the materials to create a competing product or service.

7. Intellectual property

The website, product text, layout, worksheets, graphics, branding, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Career Resilience Lab and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred by purchase.

8. Educational information—not professional advice

The product is for personal career readiness and organization only. It is not legal, tax, financial, medical, mental-health, human-resources, or other professional advice. Employment rights, benefits, contracts, severance, and workplace policies vary. Consult an appropriately qualified professional for advice about your circumstances.

9. No guaranteed outcome

Career Resilience Lab does not guarantee job retention, severance, promotion, interviewing, hiring, income, or any other employment outcome. Results depend on circumstances and how the materials are used.

10. Third-party services

Payhip, Stripe, Meta, and other linked services are independent providers governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third party’s separate website, availability, or processing, but we will reasonably assist with product-delivery issues within our control.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and product are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Career Resilience Lab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or product. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits rights or liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer law in your location applies.

13. Changes, severability, and contact

We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a revised effective date. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Questions or notices may be submitted through our Support page.
