Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Career Resilience Lab collects, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Effective September 20, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to careerresiliencelab.org, the Still Employed Checklist, related digital downloads, and customer-support interactions. Checkout and delivery are provided through Payhip, and payment processing is provided through Stripe. Those providers also apply their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

  • Order information: your name, email address, country or region, order details, transaction identifiers, and related purchase records made available by Payhip or Stripe.
  • Support information: information you include in a support request, such as your order email, receipt number, problem description, and correspondence.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, referring page, and basic request information that may be processed by our hosting and security providers.
  • Purchase measurement: for paid U.S. orders, a server-side purchase event may include product identifier, price, currency, transaction identifier, IP address and a one-way hashed version of the order email. We do not send payment-card details or toolkit contents to Meta.
Payment-card information: Career Resilience Lab does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Payhip and Stripe process that information.

3. How we use information

  • Process, confirm, and deliver your purchase.
  • Provide download assistance and customer support.
  • Detect fraud, prevent abuse, secure the website, and maintain transaction records.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
  • Perform limited server-side measurement of completed purchases.

4. When information is shared

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the business, complete transactions, perform the limited purchase measurement described above, or comply with law. Recipients may include Payhip, Stripe, website hosting and security providers, Meta, professional advisers, and government or law-enforcement authorities where legally required. Server-side events sent to Meta for paid U.S. orders include Meta's Limited Data Use indicator. We do not sell customer contact information.

5. Cookies

Careerresiliencelab.org does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not load the Meta browser pixel. No cookie-consent action is required on this website. Payhip and Stripe are separate services and may use cookies under their own policies when you visit checkout.

6. Retention

Order and transaction records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably useful for resolving requests and maintaining appropriate business records.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small digital-products business, including HTTPS and limited access to business accounts. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, those providers use contractual or legal mechanisms intended to protect transferred information.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Submit a request through our Support page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and some records may be retained where required by law.

10. Children

The website and products are intended for working adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Privacy questions can be submitted through our Support page.
